33rd rotterdam international film festival
The Rotterdam International Film Festival is currently one of the most important cultural events in The Netherlands, mainly focusing on independent and experimental films. Bistart attended these events and made a selection of films based on different topics, ranging from the situation of women in the Muslim world, the current relationship between developed countries and their former colonies, to the influence of Dutch paintings in movies.

France gets a new national museum of photography
The Art Newspaper
After a series of renovations, the Jeu de Paume officially reopened last week in Paris. As Libération´s Elisabeth Lebovici reports, the museum, has been reborn as the Centre pour la Photographie et l´Image and will be run by Régis Durand, former director of the Centre National de la Photographie. 30/06/04
